Most people nowadays judge others based on how they look. If a person doesn’t look like what society deems as “beautiful“, then that person will be treated as an outcast and will often hear harsh words from other people.
One guy has experienced the unforgiving nature of people around him due to a mysterious skin disease all over his body.
Antonio Reloj is a young man who lives in Dingle, Banga in Aklan. Ever since he was a child, his neighbors already teases him while others were afraid of him because of his appearance. Every time they see Antonio, they immediately run away from him because of his odd image. They even call him “aswang.”

Antonio’s entire body is riddled with dry and scaly skin. He is also on the brink of losing his eyesight due to the skin disease he has.
Because he lives in poverty, Antonio could not afford to go to the doctor and get himself checked.
Luckily, his second cousin Jesselyn Rebutar decided to visit his house one day. According to her, Antonio hid himself the moment he saw them com to his house.

She explained to him that he shouldn’t be afraid to show himself since they are his cousins. This act of kindness brought Antonio to tears.

Now, Jesselyn is asking for everyone’s help. She posted Antonio’s photos on her Facebook account hoping it would reach the knowledge of good people out there who might be able to financially help her relative out.
