She wrote on her Facebook post how important self-worth, self-acceptance, and the benefit of waiting for genuine and pure love is.
She is now joyfully and contentedly married to a military officer. Joanne Gonzales-Tagros was a single mother to two children as many of us wouldn't know. She also said that many people around her used to judge her by the mistakes and failures that she has done in the past. However, she encounters a man one day and she couldn't believe that finally find the one who will accept all of her imperfections and flaws.
“I was a single mother with 2 treasures when Norman met me, and while he was single and a fine young military officer, he didn’t hesitate to court me and ask my hands for marriage.”
The man then decided to court her without hesitation as he was entirely attracted to her for higher than her physical beauty and after the years of being together, the man asked her to marry him.
“People may judge you for your past experiences, for your life’s decisions and mistakes, but there will always be that someone who will accept you and love you for who you really are.”
She then gave important advice and lesson all of the women out there in her viral Facebook post. As stated by her, the first things that should come before entering into any romantic relationship are the self-worth and self-acceptance.
“My advice to all ladies out there, don’t settle for anything less, someone out there is willing to do everything for you, willing to follow you to the ends of the earth, willing to love you and only you, and willing to sacrifice everything just to keep you.”
She also indicated that all women should not let any man treat them like a piece of trash and they also should not settle for anything less.
“Don’t let any man treat you like a rag or trash because you are a Princess and you are priceless. If he can’t treat you like a Queen then his love for you is not enough.”
